Figaro’s was launched in 2010 by Hendrik (Figaro), amid a yearning for truly authentic Italian Gelato, Espresso, and delicately fresh Honey Nougat. All, were found lacking at the time here in the Foothills of Canada’s Alberta Province. Figaro’s is a micro manufacturing and retailing business in Canmore, Alberta – the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We sell our products online, and through mobile trikes and carts.
There is absolutely no compromise in the quality of our products, which includes Gelato (Italian Style Ice Cream), locally roasted organic and free-trade Espresso, and Honey Nougat. Only the best ingredients are sourced from all over the world for its products. For example, Figaro’s is using honey from the Prairies in Alberta for its Nougat. Pistachio for Gelato comes from Spain. Fruit pulp from Europe. We use real dairy, real sugar, honey, and fresh egg yolks for our Gelato. Our coffees are from local roasters in Canmore, Priddis and Calgary.
